Singer Abhijeet Calls Ghulam Ali A 'Dengue Artiste'
Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya -- famous for songs like Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon (Yes Boss), Suno Na Suno Na (Chalte Chalte) and Dhoom Taana (Om Shanti Om) -- has sparked a social media outrage by condemning Pakistani ghazal singer Ustad Ghulam Ali.

The Shiv Sena has demanded that Ali's concerts in Mumbai and Pune be cancelled, saying terror and cultural ties cannot go in hand.

While many lamented 'music' being given a 'political' turn, Abhijeet used harsh words against the renowned Pak singer.

Later, Abhijeet also had a war of words with Resul Pookutty, when the Oscar-winning sound editor slammed the singer for his choice of words.

In the meanwhile, many Bollywood celebrities, including Shabana Azmi, Vishal Dadlani and Anubhav Sinha, have expressed their displeasure on the cancellation of the concert.

This is not the first time Abhijeet has gone wrong with his choice of words. He had caused a major controversy when, after the verdict of Salman Khan's hit-and-run case, he tweeted: "Kutta road pe soyega kutte ki maut marega."
